It has been quite a while I didn't write anything in my blog.
Yesterday, I went to JPJ Wangsa Maju and I saw the tender board for the numbers. The current number is WTK and WTL. The WTK 1 is selling at RM78,000, and WTL 1 is selling at RM 56,000.
Of course the number 1 is a good number, but why people are paying a lot that number. Do they mean to say that the number that they bought can really bring luck? Is there any proven data?
Some middle and low class family are earning as low as RM17,000 per annum, and these people can spend the money to buy numbers for no logical reason. It's their money, and they have the rights on their money but please do have some humanity.
What a symbol of status can give them? Will it make them immortal?
Majlis Kanser Nasional requires a lot of money for the treatment of the poeple who are suffering due to cancer. It is known that any cancer can be cured it early treatment is given. The the money is given to the poor and people in need, will it be beneficial to them?
Please think about the people in need. Why must pay so much for the number? Where are the humanity? The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer.
In my dictionary, I'll define these people as selfish, cruel and a waste to the society. I always believe that human need to learn to become humans.
